WIC Clerk Oneida County Public Health seeks a qualified candidate to perform various clerical duties in support of the WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) department that includes interaction with the public for benefit issuance and appointments, ensuring positive customer service, maintaining confidential information, developing and maintaining relationships with community agencies relevant to the WIC program functions for referral needs, and ensuring quality program standards. If you are ready to make a difference in the community and love the idea of working with children and families, this position may be right for you. Qualified candidates require a HS Diploma or GED, and one-year post HS education involving business, computer science, administrative assistant, and/or accounting; Associate Degree preferred; position requires 2-4 years of experience in office or administrative support. This part-time (60%) position has a starting 2018 hourly rate of $15.50 to $16.82, based on experience, and does include an excellent fringe benefit package.
